Who we are
NumisPoint (www.numispoint.com) is an online store for coins and banknotes, based in Bengaluru, India. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean NumisPoint, and “you” means anyone who visits or buys from our website.
This policy is published under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By using our website, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
What we collect
- Your account
- Your name, mobile number and email address. When you log in, we send a one-time password (OTP) to confirm it is you.
- Your orders
- Your name, delivery and billing address, PIN code, phone number, email address and the items you bought.
- Messages and forms
- What you write to us through our forms (contact, sell to us, wish list, stock alerts, submit an event, notify me) and any photos you upload.
- Automatically
- Your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and analytics.
We do not ask for sensitive details such as your health, religion, caste or biometric data.
How we use it
- To process, pack and deliver your orders, and to send order and dispatch updates.
- To reply to your messages, look at items you offer to sell us, and look for items on your wish list.
- To issue GST invoices and meet our legal and tax duties.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.
- To understand how the website is used, so we can make it better.
- To ask for a review after your order is delivered. We send news or offers only if you ask for them, and you can stop them at any time.
Payments
Card, UPI, net banking and wallet payments are handled by Razorpay, a PCI DSS compliant payment gateway. We never see or store your full card number, CVV or banking password. For direct UPI QR payments, we only see the payment details needed to match your payment to your order.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep you logged in, remember your cart and wish list, and understand how visitors use the website (Google Analytics). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and login will not work without them.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed to run the store, with:
- Razorpay, to take payments.
- Our delivery partner, who receives your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
- Google, for website analytics, spam protection on forms (reCAPTCHA) and login OTP messages.
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts our website, stores images and sends our emails.
- Cloudflare, which delivers the website quickly and protects it from attacks.
- Government or law enforcement, only when the law requires it.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. Links on our website to other sites are not covered by this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details while your account is open. Order records and invoices are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Messages from our forms are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
How we protect it
The whole website uses secure HTTPS encryption. Our servers sit behind a firewall, and access is password protected and limited to the people who need it. No system on the internet is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct or update it. You can also do this yourself in My account.
- Delete your account and personal information, except order records the law requires us to keep.
- Stop using your information for anything you agreed to earlier, such as emails.

Children
Our website is meant for adults. Buying from NumisPoint involves money, online payments and personal details, so anyone under 18 should use the website only under the supervision of a parent or guardian, who must place the order and make the payment.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has shared their details with us, please email [email protected] and we will remove them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
