Reverse: A lion standing & facing left under a palm tree ; all within a raised, toothed border. Around this is the legend “EAST INDIA COMPANY” above and ONE MOHUR in English & YEK ASHRAFI in Persian below the lion.
One Gold Mohur was equal to 15 Rupees or 15 One Rupee Silver Coins of 11.66 Grams each in circulation those days
