What is a good gift for a coin or banknote collector?
Collectors look for notes that are genuine, in top condition and hard to find. A note with their birthday or anniversary in the serial number is all three: an RBI note in UNC condition, with a number that is personal to them. It fits any collection of Indian banknotes and is something they are unlikely to find for themselves.
What is a unique wedding anniversary gift?
A genuine RBI note with the wedding date as its serial number, for example 141299 for 14 December 1999. It suits any anniversary, from the first to the 25th (silver jubilee) or 50th (golden jubilee), and makes a lasting keepsake for a couple or for your parents. The six digits after the prefix are your date. For 01 January 2024 the note reads:

Questions
Is it a real currency note?
Yes. It is a genuine banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of India, not a replica or a printed souvenir. It is sold as a collectible, for its special number.
How does the date appear on the note?
The serial number is a short prefix followed by six digits, and the six digits are your date as DD MM YY. 01 January 2024 = 010124. Only the last two digits of the year are in the number, so 1924 and 2024 give the same note number.
How long does it take?
We need 5-7 working days to arrange a note for your date. It is then packed with care and sent anywhere in India; delivery usually takes 3-7 business days, depending on where you are. For a birthday or anniversary, order at least two weeks ahead.
Can I get several notes with the same number?
Yes. Tap more than one denomination: each note you choose carries the same number, and the total is shown before you add to cart.
Are any dates not available?
Almost every date is available. The only number we cannot supply is 111111 (11/11/11). National dates such as 02/10/69 (Gandhi Jayanti), 15/08/47 (Independence Day) and 26/01/50 (Republic Day) are limited to one note per customer. Every other date can be ordered as usual.
